East Lake Brantley Road Water Main Relocation

This residential and commercial area was served by a water treatment plant located on East Lake Brantley Road near Nob Hill Circle, with the associated existing potable water distribution mains. There were utility conflicts between the existing water mains and the proposed roadway and drainage improvements. This portion of the project was for construction of new water mains at locations that will not be in conflict with the proposed roadway and drainage improvements.

 The work was performed and sequenced ahead of the roadway and drainage construction. The existing water mains and customer services remained in service until the new mains were fully constructed, tested, and cleared for use by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. AVCON’s responsibilities included design, permitting, and construction administration services.
