Eagle's Nest Park Bridge

Eagle's Nest Park Bridge serves as the main entrance to Eagle's Nest Park and an elementary school and spans across Shingle Creek. There is also a recreational trail that runs parallel to the creek and passes beneath the bridge. The design of the bridge considered hydraulic characteristics of Shingle Creek; pedestrian access to the park, school, and trail; and horizontal curvature of the roadway. The final bridge was constructed on AASHTO girders with a curved deck slab.
